Seattle Transit Blog has covered transit news for the the greater Seattle since April of 2007. The blog also focuses on density, the urban form, and other forms of alternative transportation like bicycling and walking.

The blog's proprietors occasionally hold meetup events so that people who enjoy that kind of thing can get together, regardless of interest level or domain knowledge.

So, are you interested in public transit, urban density, walkable neighborhoods, or bike-friendly streets? Want to meet others that are? Then join in!

Oh, and be sure to read our blog, too!

“I ride public transportation everywhere. I have even taken the bus to Snoqualmie. I believe that using public transportation can decrease traffic jams, air pollution and road rage, and increase community interaction.”

“Just curious. I have a strong view that light rail is NOT the solution we need. It has huges costs and very little benefit. Instead, we need a high-speed monorail.”
