The long awaited ESPRESSO HIKE has finally arrived. This will be the 100th Meetup for the Coffee Club. Happy Anniversary!

Unlike a normal Meetup, the ESPRESSO HIKE is about discovery and trying new places, which may or may not be good. I have a 5 mile round trip hike planned where we can try 3 places.

1- El Diablo* - 1811 Queen Anne Ave N
http://www.eldiabloco...

2- Q Cafe - 3223 15th Avenue West
http://www.qcafe.org/...

3- Bustle Seattle - 523 West McGraw St.
http://bustleseattle....

* Coffee Club did visit El Diablo in October 2006.

We will start and end at EL DIABLO. You do not have to drink an espresso at each location. The purpose of the ESPRESSO HIKE is to determine if it is good. Not all of us need to order to determine that.

** This is a 5 mile hike with hills. If you are out of shape, this isn't for you. BE ON TIME! And no we won't wait for stragglers. **

Bring your CAMERA. I'd like a full gallery for this Meetup. biggrin

RSVP YES if you can make it and are capable of a 5 mile urban hike while under the influence of caffeinated beverages. Bring your own water, food, sunscreen, cellphone and bail money.

PARKING: Be sure to read the signs closely, but it should be free and *somewhat* easy. Some spots are limited to 2 hours. You will get ticketed if you go over. And whatever you do, DO NOT PARK at Safeway.

    •  It was a great idea and a great way to quickly learn about new coffee places, as well as meet people.
    •  It was a beautiful day, friendly company among coffee fans, good exercise; what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, the coffee was very good too.

It was awesome to combine an urban hike/walk with visiting espresso shops. Great idea. Hope we can do this some more.
    •  This was really a complete joy. The best of the coffee events I've been to; which is saying a lot.
    •  This was a great walk and fun to visit more than one coffee spot.
