If you like quality coffee, then you may like quality tea as well. Not the bagged stuff. I'm talking the best of the best when it comes to tea.

The TEACUP in Upper Queen Anne (corner of Queen Anne Ave N and Boston) is hosting a 1 hour class for just $3. This event requires setup, so please don't arrive late and only RSVP YES if you plan on being here.

EXOTIC TEA TASTING - "In this class we will taste some rare, special and exotic teas from many different countries such as Silver Needle white tea, First flush Nepalese black tea, Moroccan mint green tea and aged pu-erh tea. While we sip these fine teas we will discuss tea drinking traditions from many distant lands."

** YOU MUST RSVP with TEACUP to save your spot **

It is time to return to one of our group's favorite places: MUSE COFFEE.

Muse Coffee is hidden on the west side of Queen Anne. They use Herkimer Coffee and make outstanding drinks. Parking is both easy and free. However their sign is hard to see from a moving car. Be sure print out a map or add the address to your GPS.

RSVP YES only if you can attend.
All Maybes are encouraged to RSVP NO and add "Maybe" in the comment field.

As of this writing, Muse is still serving Affogatos, which is a dessert made with gelato and espresso. See the photo in the post.

The 72nd Street Cafe is independently owned and has Zoka coffee. Seating is limited, so I am encouraging people to have coffee before brunch or after, or both as I recently did! The Green Lake Bar and Grill is located next door to this establishment. I'm not "organizing" brunch just the coffee part so feel free to eat wherever you'd like.

Seattle Coffee Works has picked up and moved their coffee operations from 111 Pike to 107 Pike. The new location is the old Johnny Rockets. It is much larger than the old place. The new Seattle Coffee Works has a coffee "slow bar", that includes cold brewed coffee as well as vacuum pot coffee.

** We will arrive at 2 PM, get drinks and meet fellow members. At 3 PM, Sebastian of Seattle Coffee Works will show off his new coffee roaster for our group.

The Art Walk starts at 3 PM, so arrive early if you like. We will meet up at 6:30 PM.

PARKING: Will be tough. In addition to the Art Walk, Queen Anne is also hosting a Farmers Market at the same time. Bus it if you can. My best advice is to park a block or two East or West of Queen Anne Ave. Avoid the Avenue if you can.

Stella Coffee is located next to the Seattle Art Museum on 1st Ave. Rob from Stella Coffee will be there to discuss Italian Style Coffee Roasting for our group.

Our group most likely will be in the back room. Look for us back there if you don't see us up front.

RSVP YES only if you plan on coming.

PARKING: Sunday downtown can be challenging. Metered spots are free. I've had good luck parking off of Alaskan Way under the 99 in the Pioneer Square area.

There are 2 places we need to investigate for our group. This means it is time for another ESPRESSO HIKE.

We will meet at the top of QUEEN ANNE at KERRY PARK. This hike will be about 5 miles long and involves going down and up a very large hill. If you are out of shape, this hike isn't for you. We will do other ESPRESSO HIKES in flatter neighborhoods another time.

1- We meet at KERRY PARK. 211 W Highland Dr. http://tinyurl.com/lpezr9

2- STELLA 1224 1st Ave http://www.stellacoffees.com/

3- FONTE (across the street from Stella)

4- Maybe a bonus shop on the way back to Kerry Park.

** This is a 5 mile hike with hills. If you are out of shape, this isn't for you. BE ON TIME! And no we won't wait for stragglers. **

RSVP YES if you can make it and are capable of a 5 mile urban hike while under the influence of caffeinated beverages. Bring your own water, food, sunscreen, cellphone and bail money.

PARKING: Parking in this neighborhood is free and without restriction. It is also on a bus line.
