Sunday Coffee Klatch - Revolutions Espresso & Bakery (GREENLAKE)

I like the meaning of coffee klatch or kaffeeklatsch: n. "A casual social gathering for coffee and conversation." The Coffee Club is about just that: good coffee, happy friends, lots of laughs, and of course, fascinating conversation ;) So... let's gather again! Please join me for good coffee (they still serve Herkimer Coffee), happy people (I am happy to see you! :D), absolutely great conversations and bonus, yummy pastries! ;) Their Yelp reviews are still great too!

We last visited Revolutions Espresso on August, 2011. They are spacious, nice, cozy and very friendly. I read they serve Herkimer's coffee "with exceptional skill," making a very good espresso and mocha, a "fabulous" latte and daily house made pastries. I am going for their double-shot mocha and pesto Parmesan roll: humm, delicious! :)

ROASTER: Herkimer Coffee

LOCATION: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=7012+Woodlawn+Ave+NE%2C+Seattle%2C+WA

PARKING: Free on Sundays but it's around Greenlake, so it is hard. Give yourself enough time to find a parking spot.

I hope I see you there!

OK coffee and interesting conversion, including with some people I'd never met before.

Klatsch has an s in it! Klatschen in German means to gossip or tell tales. (Der) Kaffeeklatsch on the other hand, is an informal gathering for coffee and conversation..hopefully without the gossip! ;>

No gossip allowed then? ;D lol!

Could be in the anglicized version. However, in German, it's definitely Klatsch. Sch in German is pronounced /sh/ and ch is pronounced /ch/, kind of like chutzpah (it's a guttural consonant cluster sound we don't have in English). :>
