Nice to meet you!....California to Washington, now there's a transition. I did it about 10 years ago. I think it took me a few years to acclimate. I came from Palm Springs - but now, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. So glad you are here and I hope to see you soon at one of our two weekly meeting or one of our events.
No problem. I've been out of town a good bit lately anyway.
I think a snow day is organizing for Jan. 23 as well. Let me know if you would like to connect on that or any other activity. I understand it is difficult to make some of the scheduled meetups. I have a company, work full time and it is hard to make many of these activities.
My direct email is a far better way to contact me.
Hello. My son Alex (DOB 3/6/06) and I also live in W. Seattle. We're going up to Snoqualmie Pass for a snow day Saturday Jan. 9 (weather permitting) if you would like to join us. I also posted a thread on the message board so others might join us. If not, let me know if you would like to connect with another activity. FYI are you familar with the W. Seattle YMCA Friday family nights? - great deal and great fun. Also check out the meetup group WSMOT. Good people.
Hey there neighbor :-) We don't know each other, and I have yet to attend an event, but we live on Fauntlee Crest and I'm 42 as well. (Also, I recognized you from a comment you made a while back on the West Seattle Blog - so much for the memory going ;-) Does Dexy go to Europa Kids too? I thought I recognized the 2-6 afternoon thing.
Look forward to meeting you both one of these days.
Welcome to the group! My daughter Tori is 3 (April 2006). Hopefully we will see you at an event soon!
