Come enjoy a spooky night at the theatre. I did a show here for Halloween and have been looking forward to this show since I first heard about it in our pre-show announcement. This is a multi-meetup event and you are encouraged to invite friends and spread the word. So as a company member of Second Story Rep I would like to personally invite you to the opening night of their first show of the year:

The Woman in Black

A spine-tingling ghost story told in an unusual fashion. A lawyer hires a professional actor to help him tell the disturbing story of events that happened to him years before when he first glimpsed the mysterious woman in black. Who is she? Why is she there? The answers are slowly revealed in a terrifying climax sure to chill to the bone.
Rated PG13.

Second Story is located in Redmond Town Center on the 2nd floor next to Border's Bookstore. The theatre opens about 8pm and the show starts at 8:15pm. But since it is festival seating I have us meeting early to get seats together. Shows tend to runs about 2 hrs with a 15 minute intermission. Tickets are $25/adult, $19 student/senior. “Ghost stories… tell us about things that lie hidden within all of us, and which lurk outside all around us. They show human beings in the grip of the extremes of powerful emotions, at key moments and turning points in their lives. They also frighten delightfully, give shape, form and substance to our darkest and most primitive and child-like fears and imaginings, and, perhaps most importantly of all, they entertain.”

      “ Thanks to those who made it out. We had 8 from other meetups along w/ me and 7 of my friends. Highly recommend this play, a good old-fashioned suspenseful ghost story. Well acted and good to support a non-profit theatre. Also fun to hang out with the cast, crew and audience for the opening night party. ”
