Here's my story-- I really wanted to go to the Space City Mixer's Event at the Showbox... but it's sold out and it's a little too pricey for my liking. As I was voicing this to a friend, she told me that she's going to the Zombie Prom 2008 . After taking a look at the line-up and the venue, I do believe that this is going to be the best party in town!
So here's to all of you who have not committed to an event on Halloween, but still would like to get out and have fun!
For further details, here's some text blatantly taken directly from the official website:
Zombie Prom 2008 at The King Cat Theatre – Seattle’s #1 destination for the living & undead this All Hollow’s Eve.
Zombie Prom is an ancient ritual celebrating hot music, wild dance, and intoxicating spirits founded by the God Apollo, after one particular (really rewarding) one night stand with Dionysus - in the third equinox of the age of Jupiter. It’s also Gaelic (zhombe’ phrom) for ‘the best party you can have with your costume on’ (loosely translated).
But never mind all that jibba’ jabba, Zombie Prom is simply the best BEST HALLOWEEN PARTY in recorded history. And 2008 promises the best lineup ever, at least since the Greeks forced us off Mount Olympus in 1968:
Acknowledge Entertainment and Smart Went Crazy present Panda Conspiracy and The Staxx Brothers. We even brought C-Leb & Abro and Lucky Brown DOWNTOWN, just show to you we aren’t ****in’ around.
And that’s not all. Not only do the ancient gods approve and send thanks, but this is our very first Ménage Trio. That’s right a three way RECORD RELEASE PARTY, featuring Panda Conspiracy, Lucky Brown, and C-Leb & A-Bro along with The Staxx Brothers.

For those of you who are not in the Seattle Singles group, this is a cross-posted event.
I think we should meet up for the Zombie Prom 2008 at 6pm and crash the pre-party event at the Islander.
The Islander:
96 Union Street
Seattle, Washington 98101
[masked]
This way, we can say hi to the others in the other party and then be able to stay together at our event.
See you there,
Kelly
PS. I need to get busy with putting my finishing touches on my Bride of Frankenstein costume. This is going to be a blast!
