hi - trying to send a suggestion and it won't work. Mt St Helens - Windy Ridge. The drive is a bit long from the Seattle area, but you can drive all the way up to 5 miles from the mountain. Many stops on the route to Windy Ridge to take photos of the mtn, blast zone, spirit lake and wild flowers. All with no walking required. There is a small window for this location but we could still squeeze it in Sept/Oct. If not, file for next year once the route opens, usually in late June/early July.

Hey Launa. I can not attend tonight's meetup. But, the class that is pre-empting my attendance is over in 2 weeks. I am interested in participating in meetups, and I think I can probably learn some things by volunteering for the book construction. Hope to see you folks on the next meetup. --rich
