The Art of the Photosphere - Bradford Bohonus

If you use Google maps around Seattle or Bellevue, and have found one of the "photosphere" images (360º in all directions), then you've very likely seen one of over 600(!) that Bradford Bohonus has uploaded to Google Maps.

I first ran into his image at this seemingly impossible viewpoint.

Mr. Bohonus is a professional photographer and has been doing panoramic VR photography for nearly 20 years.  Tonight he will share with us some of his favorite images as well as show us how he captures these beautiful images of our city.

Our monthly GTUG meeting:

6:00: Networking & Pizza
6:30: Lightning Talks/Demos - (let us know in advance if you have something to show - 5 minutes)
6:45: Main Presentation
7:30: Q&A

I mentioned the DevLocal Open Device Lab in my lightning talk. We're having the first Lab meetup next week. Take a look and sign up if you're interested in talking about mobile testing or you'd just like to visit the lab

It was difficult to hear speakers from in the back, the big fan in the kitchen drowned out their voices. Having the speakers stand in front of the projection screen made it so we could only see their silhouette.

Very interesting and cool presentation - nice to see tech advancing art and vice versa too

Is it possible to bring a friend? Have a surprise out of town guest that would love to come. Thank you and sorry for the late question.

Yes. You can bring a guest - I don't know why we had the Meetup settings to say you couldn't.

Just wanted to share my relatively few, amateure photospheres. Who else has some?

Great to hear. Just had some great strides in the project. Still having issues with one part. I did a gadget to make an iframe for one tool. But i can't find a way of passing information to a gadget, or to make an iframe in line in an appscript that i can change the page on based on a variable pulled from our link database.

Note the new location - our first time to meet at HasOffers. It's located a few blocks north of Pike Place Market.
