Sorry I missed last night, I didn't check my email until today :). I'm going to try to be there next Saturday. Is it OK if I come knowing hardly anything about Dart? I'll be out-of-town this week and probably won't get a chance to study it before Saturday. If you think I should read a primer first, perhaps you can suggest something? I'm a .Net web developer (15 years - ASP.Net MVC + AngularJS = lots of JS experience :) ) so I am a reasonably competent web developer.

No problem. Yeah more the merrier even if you think you don't know anything. I'm always learning too. I'd suggest starting with dartlang.org for basics and download the dart editor. The syntax has similarities to c#, javascript and Java so its not tough.

Just an update. I've set the location, to Haggen, they have a nice food court. Tonight you'll have to find your own wifi connection. If you want to work with the Dart Editor offline tonight, I might suggest downloading the DartEditor before the meetup. Look for a guy with a macbook pro, wearing an html5 cap in the Haggen foodcourt. I'll arrive a few minutes early. I'll also be wearing a GDG logo jacket as well. See you tonight if you're able to come. No worries if something comes up.

I'm running through town about 6:30 tonight and I'm going to stop by a couple spots to check out other meeting location possibilities as well. Once I get the Karma, we could share that for wifi at any location.

Good question. I've been looking for public wifi down town Arlington, although I've only noticed wifi at starbucks. I've bought a Karma wifi hotspot but won't be here till next week. I think hagens has a nice food court with lots of seating, which would work nice. So I think Star bucks in smokey point on the Arlington side has the most room. Thoughts for a location?

An event in my city on the day I'm out of town! Hopefully there will be more in Arlington.
