Lake Forest Park Towne Center Friday

  • Jul 15, 2011 · 9:30 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

This is an ongoing Meet-Up for Plein Aire enthusiasts. The location provides a variety of opportunities to sketch, paint, take photos or just walk around and look at the scenery. Lake Forest Park Towne Center (LFPTC) is located at the north end of Lake Washington at the intersection of Lake City Way and Ballinger Way. Let's meet outside, on the upper level undercover at the entry to Third Place Books.  If the weather is an issue staying inside the commons is an option. If the weather is cooperating LFPTC is across the street from the Burke Gilman trail and a couple of small parks which look out onto views of Lake Washington. Are you interested?

We will try to meet promptly at 9:30 AM, pick our inspiration, and paint. If you are interested, we will try to regroup at about noon to see what everyone has created. Not a critique, per se, but a see and share.  Meet you there, Leigh

Wonderful supportive group, discovered fun new place to paint, eagles soared overhead and we all had a great time! Inspiring!

It was great to have some time to view the work of the other artists after the "alone-time" of painting.

dramatic light, a chop on the lake, congenial company and time to paint -- just right!

Great group of people! Had a relaxing and charming time painting on the dock while an eagle soared over us trying to get into one of our paintings! Very supportive artists and am always amazed what comes from a few hours with the brushes and good company!
