What are your favorite places to create art?

Green Lake, Seattle Arboretum, backyard, when travelling, anywhere (except in the middle of I5)

What kind of group art excursion have you always wanted to take, but nobody to take it with?

Rent an Italian villa on the coast for a month. OK more realistically---a weekend in the San Juan Islands?

What are some of your favorite colors?

Based on the level of my paints, burnt sienna takes the cake! Ultramarine BLUE (love the richness), Yellow ochre (reminds me of Provence)--ok really ALL colors...."I never met a color I didn't like"

Who are some of your favorite artists and art forms?

Monet..Rembrant, Turner. Landscapes are my favorite, but doing art has honed my appreciation for all artistic trials. Painting has really expanded my awareness of other art forms.

What do you most value in an art-making companion?

Having fun with it. Enjoying the moment. Love living life.

I started watercolor painting about 10 years ago when my job took me across the US and into foreign lands. I have self-educated myself and did paintings as I travelled. Now, I am totally addicted!!!

What Lynne M. is saying about this Meetup Group

Wonderful, but could use more meetings on the weekends for those of us who work!
