Smallest Meetup I have attended for Democracy for America (or Dean for America), which is not a bad thing. A group of ten people allows everyone to take part in discussion.

i tried to meet at hamilton middle school but finally was able to find a 8x11 sign saying the mtg had changed locations. unfortunately, it was too far for me to attend. i will keep trying to attend.

I th ink the group definitely needs to develop a focus. Once it decides what that is, I think we should decide what "core issues" we want to support, and then work for those candidates or other venues which would tend to bring them about.

I would prefer a Meetup with more opportunity to plan to attend events that are already planned. I think that if you want to endorse candidates, you should get involved with the district Democrats.

As a group, we're "finding our way". The group has good energy, and we're building our community feeling. The success of the group ultimately will depend on how many people in the group are committed to being doers rather than talkers - and how persistently we each put our energies into worthy local causes.

Like that question time is limited so we can move on through agenda items.

Great chance to meet likeminded people and move forward on goals.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
