What are your favorite tea places in the Seattle area?

The Saffron Meditteranean Grill has great Chai. Blue C Sushi has the best Genmaicha around.

What are the best times for you to attend a Tea Meetup?

I prefer midday 7 days/week. I take the bus.

What is your favorite tea?

Chai; Earl Grey; Genmaicha; spearmint; hibiscus. Green teas don't excite me, although I found that I do like Oolong. I just found out that the Bergamot in Earl Grey tea calms one; now I can understand why when I go out with friends and have Earl Grey, I can drink 4 cups of it at a time without batting an eye...lol

How long have you been a tea drinker?

As long as I can remember. I think I may have gotten a taste for black teas (such as Earl Grey) with milk/cream and no sugar from my father, who spent several years in England. That was the only type of tea that he drank when he moved to the US, and so I learned to like the same as he.

What kind of tea outings are you interested in: Asian Teahouse, English High Tea, Tastings and Education, Combined Tea Outing with other Activity (restaurant, walk, concert, movie), Something Else?

I would be open to all of these and more!
