POWR Beltane Celebration

You are invited to our Beltane Celebration! Beltane, literally "fire of the god," or "fire of Bel" marks the beginning of summer and the fullness of crops, a time when spring flowers are bursting forth and our passions and zest for life are at their peak. It is traditionally celebrated on May 1, which has become May Day, a lovely preservation of the beauty of childlike innocence, love for flowers, and a little mischieviousness.

Join us as we celebrate the warming Sun! We will have a Maypole dance, live music, a fun ritual, followed by a potluck. We will be in the Education Center building at Carkeek Park in Seattle. If it's a nice day out, we will have the ritual outdoors, but please come to the building to put down your potluck items and purses. If it's raining, we'll be in the building. More details to come! Bright springtime blessings! P.S. since it's Cinco de Mayo, anyone want to bring mariachi music? Or maybe we go find a beer afterwards?

Thank You Sheri that was a beautiful Beltane Ritual and was nice to
see new faces. I loved the May Pole Dance and all the spring colors that
every body wore. An the Ritual was very powerful and felt what was there
and embraced it. You were a fantastic HP an Goddess, an enjoyed being
in the circle with you and all the others. Thank You again for making it
possible for me and others to make it to the Rituals.

for someone that has never done a group event it was fun. It was very apparent that most everyone knew each other and sometimes I felt the odd one out. There were many people that made me feel welcome and I appreciated that.
