Welcome! please tell us a little about yourself.

I'm a software guy, skier, who is managed by two cats and a dog. Ullr is my first puppy and I'm working to train him for Avalanche Search & Rescue as part of my National Ski Patrol work at the Mission Ridge Ski Area in Wenatchee, Washington (I live in Issaquah, so I commute during the winter :) is helping me with my passion to end the issue of pets not getting home after getting lost. We can do it faster, cheaper, and safer with technology that exists today.

Please list what areas of Seattle and surrounding are closest to you for meetups.

Seattle, Issaquah

Please tell us a little about your dog: type, name, age, etc.

Ullr (pronounced: ooh-lehr) is named after the Norse god of skiing and hunting. He was born November 16, 2010, and is a mix of Newfoundland and Australian Shepherd. Of course he's a handsome devil. He's mellow, gets excited about meeting new people, loves to play fetch, and has learned to jump and catch frisbees. His ears also flip back on his head sometimes and he looks really dorky and a fun and lovable way when he's feeling like being a clown. I've also spent a lot of time in puppy classes at Riverdog in Issaquah. He recently earned his S.T.A.R. puppy certificate (says the proud parent).

How Did You Hear About Our Group?

I left Microsoft to start to help get pets home faster and safer than ever before. I'm a software guy and first time pet parent to a puppy named Ullr. The problem of 6-8 million animals going into shelters annually can be fixed. Now.
