Taking off from Hyak Ski Area's parking lot, we'll stay on road 9070, which parallels the west shore of Keechelus Lake for a mile before it heads westerly towards Twin Lakes. I'm using this hike to see if Twin Lakes will suit for a future overnight hike, or to find a suitable place towards the lakes. Bring a lunch, but don't be disappointed if it doesn't make it to the lakes. Read more

“Hi Nan, Welcome to Seattle Backpackers Meetup Group. This is a pretty easy hike. The first loop of the hike is around 2 miles with a 1200 foot gain. You will have the option to do just this part of the hike if you choose. The second leg of the hike is up to the top of Little Mt. Si. This will add 3 miles and another 800 feet. Hope to see you on the trail tomorrow. Brent”
