New to the NW and interested in exploring some of it. No recent backpacking experience, so will have to go to some meetings first and see what I will need.

    Hi Shelley, it was nice to meet you, too. I was in Nepal last November and trekked the Langtang Valley. It was incredible. I haven't seen a posting yet for one this November. For now I plan to concentrate ongetting in as many hikes as Ican to get back in shape for the summer high country hikes. Maybe I'll see you out there onsome of those hikes. Have a good day.
