Note: Preliminary Event Details

We'll most likely be meeting downtown at Pike Place Market near the big sign to meet locals and tourists. This is an excellent place for visibility and outreach and will be even better as we get into the summer months.

But remember, "it's not about taking action on only one day a month. It's about taking action every day in every way possible to create visibility and spread awareness and on the eleventh day taking action TOGETHER - around the world - knowing that we will keep coming back until we get where we're going. That's what action on every Eleventh says... we're not stopping until Justice."

    If Pike Place security goons tell you that a sidewalk is Private Property, don't be intimidated, the city cops don't say anything. Tell them it's your first amendment right, you don't believe them and that they have no authority over the sidewalk.

    • “ Decent turnout with 4 of our main guys down in San Francisco for the big West Coast Convergence event. Still a little dissapointing to see such a lack of interest with a meetup group of this size :-/ ”
    • “ We need something to make us more welcoming. I have the feeling that a lot of people are intimidated and this is causing a lot of people to shy away from us. I think we need MUSIC!!? Also, it would be great if there was "something" that is physically visual that we can all wear to signify that we are a collected group and not just a bunch of individuals.... WHY? Because people will take US more seriously....this WAS my pre-perception of activist...before becoming one myself... If "One" person is doing it...its because he/she is crazy. If "Two" persons are doing it...its because Both are crazy!! If "Three" persons are doing it...its because THEY are all crazy!!! If "Three Plus" persons are doing it... Its because they are crazy AND maybe there really is something fishy going on??? SO in Summary. We need MUSIC. We need a "Visual Connection" ”
