Volunteer for "Learn Node"

Do not RSVP for this and the main "Learn Node" event, only RSVP for this event if you will be helping mentor.

Do you know JavaScript and Node? Would you like to help others learn? Much like our recent "Learn jQuery" event we will have a short presentation, followed by a semi-structured walkthrough of jQuery that we will ask everyone in the audience to try and do themselves, followed by a more advanced presentation.

Once we start having the participants walk through Node step by step and build out some sample code, we'll need you to walk through the audience and help anyone out who needs it.

All that is required is a knowledge of Node and JavaScript and a willingness to teach.

Thank you so much in advance to anyone who volunteered for the "Learn jQuery" or "Learn Git" event and will also be volunteering for this.

Thanks Ryan for creating this event (and the rest in the "learning" series). It's pretty amazing that folks in the Seattle community can attend a mini boot camp on topics like Node.js, jQuery, and testing for less than the cost of a double-tall latte. Well done!

I accidentally said YES to coming before I read the title and description. (details?) So I don't KNOW node but would like to learn. So I said No on my RSVP but that means yes. Oh you know what I mean.?
