Seattle OpenSource Linux Monthly Meetup

Due to a great response, we're continuing to meet at a new location this month--Red Door Alehouse in Fremont (http://reddoorseattle.com).  There are plenty of tables we can move around and wifi! (please note due to our group size they may want to hold a credit card while you are there if you aren't paying with cash)

Come to talk with geeks about whatever is currently on your mind.

Bring topics, discuss whiskey. come hang out.

how late do these things run? I'm just getting finished with an obligation that took a little longer than I had originally planned...

I have several Linux devices on uses Ubuntu and the other uses Maemo. I have had them for quite awhile and learn new things every day. No sure if your group is for "learners" like me.

I certainly think so. I try to learn something new about Linux every day; I don't always manage, but there is always more to know!

I think I got tricked into putting a deposit on an apt in downtown (never go apt-shopping half asleep). I was also looking at a place in Edmonds which is not that far and has more space (of course). I have to tack on parking if I live in the city. *Sigh. Anyone want to share their opinions of pluses/minuses for downtown v. Edmonds, please let me know. I'm signing something this week or next.

P.S. Forgot to mention that the next workplace may be in Everett/Marysville before Seattle happens. That might contribute to the pro/con lists.
