How did you become interested in journeying?

I lived on the Oregon Coast for 4 years where I engaged in long and deep meditation. I lived as a hermit many years and really became in touch with myself and my soul. My faith and belief in my Jewish religion has opened up the portals to the depths of my spiritual being. The connection I have had through prayer and meditation with my Creator has lit the fire of passion to understand Him and myself better.

What spiritual or shamanic traditions speak the most to you?

I am Jewish, so the mystical and spiritual aspects of Judaism would describe me. The energy known as the Ruakh is considered to dwell within the inner soul of every Jew. Some may consider this Kabbalistic, but I am not a qualified Kabbalist, nor a Chassid, who are Kabbalist in every legal sense of thew order. The source of my traditions are connecting with the Creator through his teachings and by self-sacrifice and a desire to leave the temporal plane to explore the mysteries of the esoteric realm. I also have a very close connection to trees, plants and nature. There is some sort of spiritual bonding that has always been beyond my understanding. Through my worship, prayer and meditation I have also been able to make bonding friendships with the plants, as well as some sorts of animals.

What is your spiritual practice like?

It is hard to summarize in a few paragraphs. My spiritual practice is a way of life. From how I wake up in the morning, to what I eat, to how I pray and to even the way I meditate and communicate with my Creator.
