How did you become interested in journeying?

Early on, it grew out of an interest in psychology, and this led to a more esoteric outlook.

What spiritual or shamanic traditions speak the most to you?

I mostly resonate with shamanistic techniques and traditions these days; plant and energy healing. I strive toward balance and look for common ground in spirituality. With that said. I stumbled upon my first shamanic experience 20 years ago and I view this as having initiated my journey down the rabbit hole in earnest. More recently, Shipibo shamanism, originating from the Amazon, has been the most influential upon me. I also have some roots in Western mystery traditions, Alchemy, Kabbala, etc. Understanding ancient knowledge in light of the modern sciences is something I relish. I try to stay open-minded and not get too attached to any particular belief system.

What is your spiritual practice like?

Recently, I've taken an interest in Qigong and have begun to work with the micro-cosmic orbit meditation technique. Music is my therapy, and I use sound in my practices, such as mantra. Sometimes I will use active imagination techniques similar to those described in Jungian psychology and the Hermetic tradition together with sound/music. I'm open to learning or using anything I find useful. I have a keen interest In the concept of a collective consciousness shift and often entertain theories/philosophies concerning outcomes of transitioning from the current cosmic time cycle. However, I resist dwelling on negative aspects of conspiracy fact/theory.
