Monthly discussion group on MySQL, and open source projects in general.

This month and looking to 2010, I'd like to brainstorm topics that people would like more indepth conversations about. I'll do what I can to coordinate a speaker or provide some background reading for theses topics to spark discussions and questions.

as always, you're welcome to bring questions and problems.

    While not a primary focus of the Meetup, I especially appreciated Patrick's explanation of Gearman.

    thanks so much to patrick leading us in a spirited conversation about many things geeky including memcached, mysql politics, sphynx, libdrizzle and of course iphone vs android... wait, patrick didn't lead us in that one, but he was kind enough to let us wander in that direction for awhile. see you all next month. we didn't talk about 2010 planning, so that'll be on the calendar for january in our post holiday daze. sarah
