Thanks to everyone who came to the meetup last night. I think the conversations were pretty good. Just a note for next time (and I'll mention this on the December page too) if you RSVP and can't make it, please change your RSVP. Next month we'll be ordering pizza, so we want to get the right amount.

To get into the Century Square building, you can either park in the garage under the building (entrance on Pike.) and go to the 3rd floor. (exit to your right and the room is to the left of the escalators) Or, if you are walking or busing, call me [masked]) and I can let you in at the 4th street entrance. See you at 6:30.

Tomorrow we will be talking about DBA hiring questions and answers. We have experienced both sides of the table in this area. If you're hiring, bring your own questions and lets compare notes. If you're interviewing, practice with us. If you're neither but curious, or never knew if your answer was the right one, bring the question and lets discuss it as a group.

This topic will also allow us to identify possible topics. Regarding ETL, we'll put in the queue and see if we can get the right speaker.

    See you there tomorrow.

I haven't been religious in attending all meetings lately, so I might be out of place inquiring; but has the group recently covered anything on ETL facilitation?
Or more helpful for me, given a set of real world scenarios… never mind, DBA again. But I'll complete it anyway. DBA and common interviewing questions. Given a set of 'problem' scenarios with a DB, what are the best approaches to tracking them down?
    Just my thoughts.

      Connectivity to external/other vendors' databases?

Ralph, I'll try to get someone from Continuent to present Tungsten replicator ... but that won't help us for next Monday.

In the past someone asked for more developer oriented subjects, does anyone have any specific question(s) you'd like to see answered?
