Late Morning Twisty Ride to the Oyster Run

Back by request, Diva’s Late Morning Mystery Twisty Route to the Oyster Run!! We’ll have 2 meeting locations:

  1. Kirkland McDonald's - Meet at 10am, leave promptly at 10:30am.
  2. South Everett Park and Ride – Arrive by 10:45am and ready to leave shortly thereafter when we arrive. Please note in your RSVP comment if you'll be meeting us here or we'll ride on by.

Either location, arrived gassed up and ready to go. Don’t plan on stopping until we get to Anacortes (around 85 miles).

This is my one of my 'secret' routes up through Tulip Country, taking about 2.5 hrs, planning to arrive around 1pm.

This will be a spirited/sport bikesque kind of ride (not my typical sport-touring fashion I’m afraid) for those who enjoy taking twisties with gusto! And we’ll have with lots of fun wouldn't mind a small group.

Keep that route a secret!! It's too good to advertize.
I haven't been on some of those roads in 35 or 40 years, and never strung together so well. There were even a couple that I've never been on before. What a pleasant surprise!
Kudos to our organizer, and a big thanks to our sweep rider.

Thanks. See you there. I'm the one whose parents own the Kangaroo Farm. :)

So I'll be stopping at the S Everette P&R. If you haven't clicked on the hyperlink in the event details, do so to make sure you're meeting at the one I'm stopping at. ;)

I want to meet at the South Everett Park and Ride also. Is that the one that is on I-5?

Oh, Just FYI I have booked Campsite #101 @ Deception Pass campsite, Lower Loop, if there is anybody who wants to go up Saturday and camp overnight...

Im watching the weather so I just may do that... Big campsite, maybe kinda noisy, next to parking lot and bathrooms but its a campsite.

Its booked for 2 tents, extra vehicles are $10 each... Dunno if they will enforce it though... due to the # of motorcycles and $$$$ in the area...

Pretty much runs from Friday to Sunday. Sunday is just the unwind day... ends when the bike population drops to around 50 or so.... but its open to discussion :)

and hopefully the folks I met years ago on my 50th still do their BBQ on the front lawn... if so, we will EAT good!!!

does anyone know what time the oyster run ends? I am catching a flight back from D.C. Sunday AM - trying to see if I can make it. I have been waiting on this since LAST YEAR and now I might not make it! :-(
