West Coast Swing 6wks series Beg. level w/Andy Vanosdale

West Coast Swing with Andy Vanosdale
NO partner needed! Wed. May, 1st.

Do you ever hear a song on the radio and wish you could dance to it? Pop, contemporary, electronic, R&B, blues… West Coast Swing is one of the hottest dance styles! It gives you the flexibility and freedom to create great chemistry on the floor. This beginner level series will teach you the foundational patterns and techniques that make this dance irresistible.

Andy's Bio:

Andy hails from Chattanooga, TN, but has made his home in Seattle, WA. He started dancing in April 2006 on the advice from his mother (she saw Dancing with the Stars way too much!). Ever since his move up to Seattle, Andy continued his dancing, first focusing on ballroom and then salsa. When he discovered West Coast Swing, it was love at first sight! His love of the West Coast Swing carries over to the community, where he is the Secretary of the Seattle Swing Dance Club and Competition Registration Lead of Seattle's Easter Swing.

Currently, Andy is an Advanced-level dancer in West Coast Swing, having recently placed 1st in the Advanced Jack and Jill at the Palm Springs New Years Swing Dance Classic. You can find him DJing and dancing at the dance venues across Seattle, as well as competing at many conventions across the world). He is also the co-founder of Dance Your App Off LLC, the company behind Dance Guru (stay tuned!).

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
