Attempt To Break World Record For Largest Simultaneous Dance, Sat, Oct. 24th

This is it, zombies!! The day we've been waiting for! We'll be performing at Occidental Park in Pioneer Square! Our exclusive radio partner for this event is WARM 106.9. They will promote the Seattle Thrillers' dance performance (and world record-breaking attempt) on the air, online at their station website, and they will be there on-site as well to broadcast their air signal to the dancers when they play “Thriller” on the air.

At 3:00 pm we will meet under the Pergola at Yesler Way & First Ave. Tables will be set up for signing the necessary forms that are required before the performance. A few of our co-zombies have volunteered to provide assistance at the tables. From there we will walk over to Occidental Park where the perfomance will take place at 5:30. If you would like to fill out the official form ahead of time you may pick one up at the dress rehearsal on the 17th at the Admiral Theater in W. Seattle from 10:00 am-1:00 pm.

Due to the ground being uneven in places at Occidental Park, you may want to consider wearing shoes that grip the ground. I wore tennis shoes last year & it was perfect for me. Zombies from last year, please feel free to comment on this. I'm sure any feedback for the new zombies would be appreciated!

    It was incredible!

Shocked that Wade did not mention Sheri Kinley in the acknowledgements before the dance. Sheri is the main organizer of the Seattle Thrillers and does an great job---dedicates hours of time on the phone and internet in addition to teaching everyone the dance and doing PR work Everyone looked awesome in costumes and in doing the dance!! Warm 106.9 FM did an awesome job with audio PA and live broadcasting!!

I had SO much FUN! Just like rehearsals, everyone is friendly, supportive. We're all having a good time, it's not about competition against each other-rather than together, around the world. Great to see whole families show up. My friends & family had a blast watching. And, so did many Seattle Sounders fans ;o). Not so hot when my costume was full of PDX soccer colors. Not too many social events can top what went down today. Thank you so much Shari & the many others who jumped on board to make this happen. I'll enjoy this one for a while. See you all next time, Zombie Sonics Grrl

I don't even know how many people were there, but it felt like way more than last year! It was so awesome! The zombies did an excellent crowd and we had a huge crowd (even if some of them were only there for Sounders stuff)!!! I hope we do it again next year! :)
