Beta Tasting in the U District

Seattle's newest food truck event! Beta Tasting is exactly what it sounds like- A mass tasting. There will be 5 different food trucks available offering different items that they need our help with. Taste the food and then rate which dish was your favorite!

A portion of the ticket proceeds will also be going to the non-profit organization Redeeming Soles. They will be hosting a shoe drive, so if you have shoes you are willing to donate bring them along!

I'm sorry, I didn't realize how expensive this event was going to be. I went to the site to order tickets but it said it was $45 for 10 tickets + admission. Low on funds right now so I will have to wait til I get paid for the next adventure.

I bought a ticket to this before I knew there were only 5 trucks. Arrrggghhh! The ticket from Amazon Local was $24, and this was supposed to be a good deal(!) Seems like we are paying dearly to be their guinea pigs. The ticket is for admission, plus 8 food tickets, and 1 raffle ticket (yeah, right, I'm gonna win something!). Well, I'm going. I just wish they had a few more trucks lined up...

It looks like it costs $10 for admission, but we also need to purchase tickets for sampling the food. How is the food priced? Foe example, how much food would 10 tickets be? Thanks!

Each food item is either one or two tickets, depending on the size.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
