Dumplings in December - Fu Man Dumpling House

Dumplings in December

Our first stop in finding dumplings around Seattle is at Fu Man Dumpling House. There is no reservation request (I gave them a heads up) but your host will arrive at 6 pm and secure a table for eight. Bring cash because this is not your elegant restaurant setting. Do not expect to be treated like the star you are but rather enjoy good dumplings without all the finery, fuss, or standard dining……… THE DUMPLING IS THE STAR HERE! They are sticky, homemade, and tasty so bring an extra big cloth napkin to clean up after because these dumplings will be all over your face and hands!
It's a small restaurant with a yellow and red sign most would call tacky. "Fu Man Dumpling House" it says in bold letters, by the intersection of 143rd St and Greenwood Ave in Seattle. There are perhaps three parking spots in the front and a porch, where you might just see a line of people waiting outside -which given how popular this joint is, right where you might end up yourself. So, bring your coat if we have to wait outside until we can sit. This is not for the faint of heart so NO COMPLAINING if you have to wait!
To make this meet up interesting, we can all order a different set of dumplings and share. $10 will get you more food than your standard dinner!
There is no website to view the menu........I call that FUN!

Wow, pretty amazing find with Fu Man. My family would love this place because it is more gear to their taste buds then mine. I liked the dumplings but I prefer the dumplings at King Noodles more.......just sayin:)

My favorite dumpling place in Seattle!! I love the Boiled Dumplings ($8.35 for 12), plumped with pork and a generous amount of green onions and chives, the filling is not densely packed and the dipping sauce is to die for...
