What we’re about

This is a group for social gatherings at chef's restaurants and private venues. The idea is to visit non-chain venues in the greater Seattle area--places that are family owned, focused, and dedicated to the art of food, not the commerce. Join us for good food, friends, and lively conservation over a dinner table.

Meet People Interested in Dining Out, cooking, baking or drinking in Seattle! Enjoy & share culinary talents with our 1700+ fellow foodies, gourmets, wine lovers, chefs and home cooks. Discover new restaurants, visit Food Festivals, grab some cheap eats, check out the latest foodie trucks, farmers markets, wine tastings & meet new foodie friends.

Let's broaden our horizons and get together for some themed potluck dining parties.
Please understand that the mission of this group is somewhat different from some of the other dining groups. While it's social, it will be organized around large "meet and greet"-style gatherings. Our events will range from very small (6) to med (~30) sized, and we will not visit corporate or chain restaurants.

We are food adventurers and committed supporters of the local food scene.

To promote the social side of things, please post a clear photo showing just you, showing your face clearly, w/o sun glasses, not a picture of your pet, your kid,s your friends, your back, or a flower, the beach, etc., and let us know at least your true first name.  We also may limit or decline membership requests from Meetup members that have chosen to keep their bios and profiles private.

If you are joining as a couple, please include both your first names. Please note however: Meetup.com's RSVPs are geared to individuals, as +1s on the waiting lists always have lower priority than individuals (when seating is limited).

**You are responsible for all expenses when dining with us.

We hope you can join us for a fun filled foodie adventure.

Remember if you miss this event. You'll miss an awesome experience .

**We welcome new hosts to the group. PM me and I'll make you an organizer.

Meetup organizers/leaders are not experts. Expect the same risks and take the same precautions you would take if you were dining alone.

***As far as this event system goes, participation is voluntary and you attend at your own risk, and that Organizers are indemnified.
