Definitely NOT chain restaurants! Any place that does food well, as long as it's not greasy spoon (unless it's 2 in the morning), and not the kind of place that specializes in using a deep fryer. Preferably they make everything from scratch. As long as the food is high quality, has high standards, and is made with love. Oh, and it helps if there's a good drink menu too.
Nutritional yeast, butter, and onions.
Not professionally, but I am an excellent cook. I take food very seriously, from preparation, having lots of ingredients at hand, and only buying top quality foodstuffs. Eating out, I always wonder if it's worth it, or if I could make better at home. Yes, I am a total food snob.
yes and yes. By the way, this group should ask "what are your favorite restaurants" - that would be interesting to find out.
Have fork, will travel.
I'm really enjoying the opportunity to meet like-minded people, and slowly, over time, get to know more and more people. It's nice to have dinner company! So far all the organizers have been wonderful and do such a great job setting everything up: keoni, rhea, and lorrie - thank you!
