I am a transplant to Seattle from the East coast, and I am looking forward to connnecting with people who share similar interests. I enjoy preparing and eating tasty food. I am also a scholar who researches and writes about popular culture and food.
Small, intimate restaurants with creative chefs preparing exquisite foods.
Chocolate is the only food item that I cannot live without, and maybe French macarons.
I am a cook, but not professionally. Although I can give my partner, who is a chef, some stiff competition.
Well organized and great group; my first encounter with the group was a "Newbie" meetup at "Serious Pie." Everyone was friendly and cordial. I am looking forward to participating in more meetups with this group.
