Forgot, here is an online example of how you can use D3 to visualize data.

Choose the data sample.
Choose a layout.
Drag and drop Mapping(s) to the empty boxes on the right.
See the visualization below.

It's very cool!

(Not all visualizations, work with all datasets. )
