I apologize for missing the event. Was a crazy weekend resulting in a child-care scheduling conflict. Sounds like I missed a great time. Hope to catch up with you all at a future event.

Terrific films. Inspiring and well done. The fire on the trees during The Burn didn't seem possible. Amazing job. All of the movies were completely surreal. I was amazed at all the people that attended the festival. What a turn out. Nice plug for SECT Adventures too with our signed and roped off area. BTW, it was worth it to come a little early. Too bad I had to leave early to make up for it.

This was a really great film fest, the stories were all inspiring...however, naked skiing and kayakless kayaking? Who knew? :)
So sorry some members couldn't find its...I hate when that happens.

Look for Val O and signs when you arrive. She has kindly offered to get there early and reserve seating for us.

Hi all - Amy is doing her best to have us sit together. This will involve the first one there asking for SECTA meet-up group signs and rope and roping off an area for about 15-20 of us. Since obviously there is no way of knowing who is first, everybody must ask. Look for signs and familiar faces. We can gauge interest in wine and munchies afterwards.

Do we have any indication of how many members will be at Banff?

    February 17, 2014

    • Erin

Amy, to get the sign: go to the main menu of this page, select "More", then "Files". Then scroll down the page to find the link to the sign, says something like "SECTA sign...". call me if you have questions[masked]-0675. Thank you so much !

Erin, they are asking that one of you guys comes and does the roping off. Doors will open at 6. As long as one person is there they can hold the seats for everyone else. I'm not going to be able to be over there making sure that. I can print out the sign and have it ready for whoever gets there first.

Here is the link to get tickets! I work for Trailblazer/Denali the hosts. Let me know if anyone wants a poster to put up at a work or gym!

Can we buy tickets at the door?

      February 19, 2014

    • Amy P.

For New London yes. Glastonbury will most likely sell out today. Cash or check please. We aren't sure if we will be able to get the computer up and running to do cards

      February 20, 2014

  • Mary-Jane C.

Do we need tickets for this?

    January 19, 2014

    • Amy P.

Yes, tickets are $15 and each location has a group that ticket proceeds go to

Great idea Nels! I've attended these in the past. Young athletes doing what they do best in pretty incredible settings. Very inspirational for those of us that are drawn to the outdoors and the activities that get us there.

Thanks, John. I agree. Beautifully shot too! Look forward to it.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
