I am looking to become a very active member of the atheist and secular humanist community and want to find other parents in the community to share ideas with and give my girls a sense of community like i had growing up in a church but without the dogma and other negative aspects of a religious based community...
Yes, I was introduced to the "life stance" of secular humanism after many years of being a nonbeliever through a friend and by reading Greg Epstein's book "Good Without God" I believe Secular Humanism is a great way for new nonbelievers (looking for that sense of moral and community that they had in a religious environment) and old atheists to come together with more goals on how to live and active participation in a community for common social good...
