Some of you may be aware of the Dallas/Fort Worth Atheist and their program Atheist Helping Homeless. For those of you that do not, here is a link. atheistshelpingthehomeless.org/
It has been suggested that we start a similar idea here in Everett.
I agree with this. I think the HNPS can assist with this as they have the resources to help start us out.
I am going to contact the Dallas group and see what advice they can offer us as we begin this campaign.
Please let me know if you guys are interested in doing this so we can get moving before winter really sets in.

I don't feel the need to help the homeless as a way to say I am a honorable atheist. I do support government programs to help the poor, so I am running for WA State Representative in 2014.
