Money-Smart Women

Welcome to Money-Smart Women, where we meet regularly to expand our knowledge and develop a new way of thinking about money.

The Money-Smart Women afternoon group meets on the third Thursday of each month. Plans are in the making for an evening group.

Under the gentle leadership of a fellow Money-Smart Woman who has practiced, worked and studied personal finance and investing for over thirty years, you’ll receive practical tips and food for thought about real money issues you deal with every day.

We welcome women of all ages and all walks of life who can benefit from our discussions and want to be empowered with money. Through our increased awareness of money, we are learning to live with prosperity and ease as Money-Smart Women.

Each discussion includes practical topics, such as controlling spending and debt, investing for long and short-term objectives, and practical guides for making our estate plans, just to name a few. We have enjoyed games and exercises to aid our learning. For example, our January meeting welcomes the new year with an exercise to guide you in clarifying your Intentions and setting goals for the coming year.

Would you like to join our next discussion? You’ll be inspired at each group meeting to take at least one action step of your choice, and then share your progress with the group at the next meeting. We’ll celebrate with you, cry with you, and encourage you, no matter where you happen to be in your journey with money.
