Automated Hardware Testing Using HTMLUnit and RaspberryPi

Join us on Thursday, January 23rd to kick-off the 2014 Selenium San Francisco meetup season. Thomas Boyles from iControl Networks will be sharing techniques for automated hardware testing using HTMLUnit and RaspberryPi.

We'll be begin at 6:30 with some food and drinks, followed by talks at 7pm.  


Automated Hardware Testing Using HTMLUnit and RaspberryPI

Thomas will present a technique for testing various hardware devices using HTMLUnit and RasberryPi. The presentation will detail how to setup the RasberryPi device to run as a simple web server, how to implement web services for controlling the device's GPIO, how to hack an embedded device using GPIO-connected relays to trigger various hardware functions, and how to bring it all together using HTMLUnit, Maven and Jenkins as a cohesive phase in the testing lifecycle of a web application.
