We'll be begin at 6:30 with some food and drinks, followed by talks at 7pm.

Abstract:

Automated Hardware Testing Using HTMLUnit and RaspberryPI

Thomas will present a technique for testing various hardware devices using HTMLUnit and RasberryPi. The presentation will detail how to setup the RasberryPi device to run as a simple web server, how to implement web services for controlling the device's GPIO, how to hack an embedded device using GPIO-connected relays to trigger various hardware functions, and how to bring it all together using HTMLUnit, Maven and Jenkins as a cohesive phase in the testing lifecycle of a web application.
