Announcing a new Meetup for San Francisco Selenium Meetup Group!

What: Selenium Lightening Talks at Sauce Labs

When: Thursday, December 16,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Sauce Labs
500 Third Street (at Bryant) Suite 240
San Francisco, CA 94107

Hi everyone!

To close out another great year of #sfse meetups, we thought we?d bring back the very popular lightening talks for our December meetup at Sauce Labs. For those not familiar, lightening talks, for our purposes, are 5 minute (or less) presentations on a Selenium topic of your choice.

The talks can be highly technical (or not), and could be on how you solved a particular Selenium pain point, how you or your company setup your own Selenium infrastructure, projects you?ve built on top of Selenium, the craziest - and/or most creative - way you?ve used Selenium, a rant about what Selenium ought to do but doesn't, or any number of other possibilities. One of our faves from last year was the Letterman-esque "Top 10 Reasons you should love Selenium." The only pre-reqs are that you keep your presentation as closely related to Selenium as possible, and that you come prepared to speak to a large group of people ;-)

Please submit - via email to [address removed] - a 3-4 sentence abstract of your proposed talk, along with a title, by Friday, December 10. We?ll have 10-12 slots open, depending on the number of people who would like to speak, and will announce the schedule before the meetup.

Also, we?d like for this to be a fun and informal event, with plenty of time for socializing, so please bring your holiday cheer! (And maybe your Santa hats:-)).

Have a lovely Thanksgiving, and see you all in December!
