SF Se Meetup Tues. 4-Aug at Twitter

John D.
San Francisco, CA
Hello Everyone:

We unfortunately have a bit of a situation on our hands: Philippe Hanrigou had and is recovering from an unplanned surgery. He expects a full recovery, but has suffered setbacks on his other responsibilities and accordingly has understandably asked me to find a replacement presenter for our program. So, two points:

1. We enthusiastically wish Philippe a quick return to full health, and hope to be fortunate enough he will be able to join us for a future meetup. We thank everyone in advance for their understanding.
2. The 4-August event is still on.

So I wanted to involve all of you who RSVP'd for the 4-Aug event in the process of choosing our 'Plan B.'

Three SF Selenium Meetup members have graciously stepped forward as alternate speaker candidates:

1. Dante Briones on "Using page object patterns for better test: creation productivity, flexibility and maintainability."
2. Jason Huggins on "How to deal with pop up windows once and for all"
3. Timothy Fitz on "Continuous Deployment: Doing the impossible fifty times a day"

To indicate your preference, please:

  • send email to
  • paste your preferred topic (from above) into the subject: field

I'll announce the will of the group in the next few days, Tuesday 7/28 at the latest.

Thank you again for your understanding and support.

Best regards,

-john d
