What's in a Link - Revisited a Semantic Odyssey a presentation by William A. Woods

In March 2010 Bill Woods gave a presentation to the Cambridge Semantic
Web meetup group to talk about his "What's in a Link" paper from 1975.

We have recorded the session and it is now available for you online here:
http://www.vimeo....

Please keep in mind that the "What's in a Link" paper predates the
Semantic Web by roughly 25 years and is now after 35 years a
historical record.

Please be advised that this presentation is not directly related to
any specific Semantic Web standards that are currently proposed by the
W3C, it's a presentation that has a wider technology research focus in
which Bill reviews his own contribution and evaluates it in its
historical context.

I personally find this to be a very valuable presentation and a story
that needed to be told. But please keep in mind that if you are here
to just learn something about RDF / RDFa coding for your own web
project or to learn something about business concepts for the Semantic
Web (make sure to attend the Semantic Web Summit if this is your main
focus) I recommend you to save this presentation for later and to skip
it for now.

Enjoy
Marco
