I can tell you a bit about text analytics software Dow Jones is using even
if Bouriana can't.

First, there's Lexalytics for entity extraction and sentiment analysis,
with the Factiva product line.

And for financial markets information extraction and analysis, Dow Jones
is working with Digital Trowel, a company started by folks include Ronen
Feldman, who was behind ClearForest, which was bought by Thomson Reuters.
(Open) Calais, a widely used entity+ extraction service, is based on the
ClearForest technology.

Ronen Feldman gave a talk on "Sentiment Analysis Past, Present & Future,
and an Application in Trading Strategies" at last April's Sentiment
Analysis Symposium in New York... which is how I know about DJ's
relationship with Digital Trowel. Video is online at .

Not incidentally, both Lexalytics and Dow Jones are sponsors and
exhibitors at the next Sentiment Analysis Symposium, coming up November 9
in San Francisco, http://sentiments... .

Hi - Thanks for the opportunity to be at this important conference! Very
happy about the ticket!

I have been interested in the development of semantic web standards and
semantic web tools for some time now. My company uses proprietary data
mining software as well as third-party entity-extraction and pattern
recognition tools (which I am afraid I am not allowed to disclose). We are
exploring future opportunities to get more involved in the semantic
standards community and bring the full benefits of using text analytics to
the end-user - e.g. by enhancing Search, by ad hoc discovery and timely
delivery of quality data.

BTW what brings you to the Semantic Web meetup Bouriana? Do you
already use Semantic Web technologies in production?
