Announcing a new event for Palo Alto Semantic Web (PAWS) Group!

What: Semantic Web Toolkits - It's time to build applications

When: Thursday, September 6, 6:30 PM

Where: (A location for this event hasn't been chosen yet)

Event Description: Semantic Web Toolkits come in different programming languages and target platforms. We now approach a level of maturity of runtime environments to deal with real world applications.

How does it scale and how logically rich should we design our knowledge base and OWL ontologies. What happened to distributed triple stores and how do we deal with heterogeneity. Is SPARQL the answer?

Is it possible to semantically enable our existing SQL RDBMS environment, and add a layer to our three tier architecture ?

Let's meet and discover what's hot and what's not.
