After last meetup where we started soldering on the Open Thermostat shield, this meetup will start with a short presentation and then 3D printing, soldering and coding.
The presentation will present Moistly, a device that was designed and now sold by myself and the guys of Tweetonig. It's a small device that warns you when you need to water your plants and includes electronics, enclosure and packaging design and of course production. In the presentation, I want to share how we went from idea to shipping product and how you can do the same.
After the presentation, the guys from Tweetonig will fire up their 3d printer and print enclosures for the Open Thermostat. And of course you can chat with them to learn about 3d printing and enclosure design if you are interested in that.
Third, we will continue (or start) soldering for everyone who hasn't yet finished the shield. And I will help with running the first version of the software that was written for the shield.
Hope to see you on Wednessday.
