I've said it before, and I will say it again - link building the least glamorous aspect of SEO, but it's outshines most anything in terms of ROI. It's *absolutely* required for SEO success, and today that task will get even easier thanks to Ben Wills.
Ben has a fantastic presentation lined up for us that covers all aspects of link building, including:
If you aren't doing enough link building, you need to be at this meetup.
If you are doing your best, but can't seem to make a dent in what you need to get past your competitors, you need to be at this meetup.
If you have been avoiding link building because the whole process is too overwhelming, you need to be at this meetup.
If you do ONE single thing this year to improve your rankings, committing to building more links will have the biggest impact. A huge thanks to Ben for sharing his expertise with the group!

A Note on Dining:
===================
We tried the buffet last time as an efficient way to get everyone fed, but it didn't go as well as it could have. This time, we are in a totally private (read: quiet!) room and we have a special menu just for us that includes several options, including vegetarian items. Eating is not required, but it's how we give back to D&B for hosting and supporting the meetup. Email me at [masked] if you have any questions!
Log in to Meetup with your Facebook account.
Thanks for the insight Ben.
