2 Color Relief Prints (linoleum block printing)

Printmaking in Seoul at Jankura Artspace!

Jankura Artspace presents a full course in printmaking to keep you busy and creative throughout the winter.

In our second session we'll be making 2 color linoleum bock prints.

You'll learn how to design, carve and print a multiple color image (3 colors will be possible) in the Western style. This is a two week workshop, allowing enough time for the production of your prints.

We'll be producing all of our prints by hand (without a press) so you'll be able to do it yourself at home after you learn everything in this course.

Feb 17 & 24: Linoleum Prints (multiple color) 60,000won

Future Printmaking Workshops

    Dear Mike,

I have a few questions for you: -Is the payment in cash or credit? -Do you only accept US dollars?

-Can I invite a friend that did not reserve a space?

-If I cannot reserve a space for my friend could I pay for a session and share the event with that friend? e.g. One print for me, one print for them.

Thank you for organizing this event. I'm looking forward to meeting you. Best Wishes,

    Hyun

hi, the payment is in Korean won. The meetup website only lets us enter $ ammounts, so it's 60,000won for each set of workshops. It takes two weekends to complete a print. Sharing a session could be a problem since it's more about number of seats available. you can wire a payment of 20,000won to Shinhan Bank[masked]

If I participate, could I get some Certification for the participation (it can be interesting for me because my major in University is Fashion Design)? Besides, right now I am in vacation at the University and I should be doing internship. But since I did not got any internship, I should do something else, related with my major and a certification would be very important for me, just saying that I had a participation on this. Is that possible? Thank you!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
