The 10 Magazine Book Club: Vampires

  • March 4, 2012 · 2:00 PM

Please join the 10 Magazine Book Club hosted by 10 Magazine’s resident book reviewer, John Mensing, for our second meeting of 2012 at 2 pm on Sunday, March 4th.

For this meeting, we will be discussing books about Vampires. The books John specifically reviewed for the magazine were:

'The Saga of Darren Shan' by Darren Shan

'Vampire Academy' by Richelle Mead

'The Historian' by Elizabeth Kostava

As well as these we will also be discussing 'Dracula', 'Interview With the Vampire', 'Let The Right One In', 'Twilight', 'True Blood' and any other vampire books you might have read.

There are a wealth of PDFs for these books online. If you want any PDFs of the above titles let me know and I will see what I can do. Send me a message with your email.

Remember, you don’t need to have read any of the books to attend the meeting. As long as you are interested in hearing about the books from those that have read them or have an interest in vampires you will be very welcome.

If you have any ideas or suggestions about how the club should be organized in the coming weeks and months, we would very much like to hear from you.

Date: Sunday, March 4th
Time: 2 pm
Place: Café Bene Basement (Book Café), Itaewon, Line 6
Directions: Come out of exit 2 of Itaewon station and walk straight for 3-4 minutes. Café Bene is on your left and the book café is in the basement. It is the FIRST Café Bene on your left, opposite the fire station.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
