Daniel - The main aim of the meeting is to meet interesting people. Not necessarily talk about the Linchpin book. Below some ideas from the Linchpin magazine: ?Find out how the linchpins you meet have overcome their lizard brain / are linchpins in their life
?Ask everybody you meet to finish the sentence ?Wouldn?t it be great if . . . ? and write down all those ideas
?Ask everybody you meet to tell you the thing they wished they had started 2 / 5 / 10 years ago

The meeting sounds very cool but I am fnishing a seminar today at 8pm so probably I will arive 8.30 to Shoko. too late? Tell me so I decide if I have to come or not. I have camera too but Jose is like Richard Avedon. And I could write also, more than 10 years as a journalist besides psychologist:)) But my intuition says Valentina could do a excelent work( I don´t know her but my intuition is wise

Hey guys, to make the most of the meeting it would be nice to do some post-meeting activities. I bet you want to get involved more actively and this is your chance to do it. We need someone who: (i) creates a Facebook group called ?Barcelona Linchpins?; (ii) writes the 250 words article for the Linchpin magazine; (iii) review/translate the article in English (please, a native English speaker); (iv)takes the cards from the jar and sends the information sends it to all participants. Volunteers???

I?ll bring: the flag; some DIN-A4 posters with Linchpin quotations; a jar to collect cards/contact information; some paper; stickers to write your name on them; a Linchpin book I want you to sign (it will be my personal souvenir from the meeting) (you can bring yours or any other book you like); a list of participants (I?m sure more people and friends will show up. They are welcome.) Please bring anything interesting, useful, inspiring and/or funny (for example, to start, bring yourself).

Proposed schedule for today: 19 h. Meeting / 20 h. Group picture with the flag / 21 h. Last drink inside (Shoko invites) / Goodbye or (improvised) dinner.

Interdisciplinary connections may be more than useful and interesting. You never know.

Plan B if it rains: inside the place. No problem. By the way, we booked from 19.00 to 21.00 h. As there is another event at 21.30 h, they will kindly ask us to go inside at 21.00 h to prepare the other event. After 21 h, Shoko will invite us to champagne inside. I hope you can come even it if rains. As a matter of fact, specially if it rains ;-) My to-do list at work is burning but I will reserve that evening for the meeting. See you there!

Unfortunately, on Monday Sal Cafe closes at 5 PM. They were very nice and offered us the possibility to stay from 5 to 7, but most of us are working at that time. I recommend you Sal Café anyway for the food, the people and the beach.

I am a big fun of Seth Godin?s blog and books and I am very excited to have the chance to talk to intelligent and creative people as you!! (otherwise you would not read him, wouldn?t you?) Isn't it great to have someone (I mean Seth) who is optimistic and creative (not talking about the crisis the whole time) who invites us daily to make the most of ourselves? Wow, I feel really lucky to have the chance to go to the meeting!!
