@anne Sad not to be making it down tonight, but like David Clark am working like a dog. We are shipping the first Social Startup Labs tomorrow and there's still stuff to be done. I'm definitely up for the follow up meetings though.

I had intended to come to this tonight but am choosing to continue working like a dog on my new website tonight. It's supposed to go live tomorrow and needs more work (sooner I get it shipped the better). You are all to feel sorry for me (less than 2 hours sleep last night).
Regular meetings and a Facebook group to talk about shipping what matters would be cool. I will check back.

There's been a lot of chat about what'll happen next - this is just the beginning. The plan will be to have a Linchpin meet up every six weeks, on the 14th and 28th of the month, in honour of today! (or the nearest Tuesday if those dates are on a weekend). Details will be announced tonight and in the meantime, please mark your diaries for 28th July!

As Linchpins we can help each ship, do work that matters, make connections that make us closer. It'll be remarkable.

Agree totally Bernie, looking forward to meeting real lynchpins who follow through tonight!

Everyone's welcome to bring cameras, video etc and create whatever footage they like. Hi Anne, As I understand it each person has their own separate account and log in for skylight and can link in with others account holders to collaborate on projects. I was thinking about a centralised point where people can store their details, build contact lists, store docs etc, a bit like google docs but different, perhaps am jumping the gun a bit, facebook and twitter are great ways to connect with people.

Hi this is awesome really looking forward to it, funnily enough the venue is exactly where I've been meeting volunteers for the past few months to help me set up my charity. It's a good place to change the world from! :-)

The way I suggest to build this is by saying 'I nominate' @twittername for #linchpin and I will search them out!

Hi Irantzu, can I just check what you mean - is the system you're suggesting password protected, if so how would you communicate to everyone here what the password is so they have access?

For those who don't want to share their details in the google docs spreadsheet we've started they don't have to; everyone is also fairly easily contactable via Facebook and in some cases, Twitter too.

I have to shout wildly about something here! It is about keeping the momentum after the day. There is SO MUCH potential bubbling away here. After talking to some of you I have never met before and (those of you I know already) this is REAL energy not that slimy 'Stadium Praise' / collect lots of business card hype energy. looking at the linchpin event list London is the only one with a significant number of attendees...what does this signify?

i know this would be clunky but it would be a start - to create a google excel document and we all put our details on it - then when we have a better software option identified we can export the data. We can also produce the document somehow for 14th June to give to everyone...

how about if we put together an online directory of all our 'work' our blogs, our twitter names, websites, our areas of interest so we can start to organise and learn / share from each other as a specific group? how could we do that and what would it bring to us? For me I think it would bring 'local heroes' to my doorstep. People who are doing, saying, being interesting / valuable and with whom I can share activity or insights or build on ideas or insights
