We're going to meet in the Blue area on the 2nd Floor of the lovely Royal Festival Hall on the Southbank near the bar.
And for inspiration appropriately enough we'll be near two purple cows and a statue of Nelson Mandela, a linchpin who definitely made a difference doing stuff that mattered.
Pictures and full details are here, please take five minutes to have a look http://bit.ly/9keOod. It'll be a thrill to see you on Monday :)

....and another thing if you see people posting and tweeting JOIN IN! If we were some super private club we would email each other wouldn't we! It was so good to Meet Up last night in 'real time'
How about this.... between 12:30 & 13:30 today everyone who tweets send this tweet - "London #linchpin - I'm in!" - not sure what we will do with that but it will be nice to know we are all in!
(BTW If you post an advertisement in that stream everyone will think you are a shmuck)
Posted by Berniejmitchell June 15, 2010 at 9:20 AMI am going to set up a London Linchpin site on Triibes later today. If you want to say your piece about this do it this morning!

Posted by Alan Froggatt June 14, 2010 at 9:56 PM@anne Sad not to be making it down tonight, but like David Clark am working like a dog. We are shipping the first Social Startup Labs tomorrow and there's still stuff to be done. I'm definitely up for the follow up meetings though.
Posted by evangineer June 14, 2010 at 8:21 PMI just RSVP-ed. Is it too late?
Posted by Dimitare Nedeltchev June 14, 2010 at 7:44 PMHi Anne!
I had intended to come to this tonight but am choosing to continue working like a dog on my new website tonight. It's supposed to go live tomorrow and needs more work (sooner I get it shipped the better). You are all to feel sorry for me (less than 2 hours sleep last night).
Regular meetings and a Facebook group to talk about shipping what matters would be cool. I will check back.
David
Posted by David Clark June 14, 2010 at 6:35 PMcan't wait for tonight, I never met anyone in person who read Seth Godin's books, I'm in for the regular follow up meetings after today.
Posted by Steven June 14, 2010 at 5:42 PMRegular Linchpin meet ups every 6 weeks sound fantastic Anne! And great that tonight is just the beginning in London!
Posted by Bernie Ritchie June 14, 2010 at 4:55 PMHi Bernie and everyone,
There's been a lot of chat about what'll happen next - this is just the beginning. The plan will be to have a Linchpin meet up every six weeks, on the 14th and 28th of the month, in honour of today! (or the nearest Tuesday if those dates are on a weekend). Details will be announced tonight and in the meantime, please mark your diaries for 28th July!
As Linchpins we can help each ship, do work that matters, make connections that make us closer. It'll be remarkable.
Posted by Anne McCrossan June 14, 2010 at 4:45 PMAgree totally Bernie, looking forward to meeting real lynchpins who follow through tonight!
Enjoy the rain :)
Posted by Jai Singh June 14, 2010 at 4:33 PMWhat really matters is that we have a chance to connect in some way tonight. It doesn't matter how and you don't need to be anything else other than yourself. Let's just give it a whirl.
Posted by Leo Cunningham June 14, 2010 at 4:31 PMGreat post Bernie, I'll try to keep an eye out for you, as the issues you raised are EXACTLY the reason I'm coming along this evening

Thank you for reading and have a nice day :)
Hi Irantzu, your ideas are very much appreciated and this looks like a good resource for when we have collaborations up and running, thanks for mentioning it :)
Posted by Anne McCrossan June 1, 2010 at 9:35 PMBernie hi, you can share a Twitter list by just making it public. simples! Hope that helps, Best, Anne
Posted by Anne McCrossan June 1, 2010 at 9:34 PMFind me. Link me. SHIP. Who is shipping? Shippers raise your hands and raise the Linchpin flags June 14 2010. Soooo looking forward to connecting with you and making change happen. Bron is StorySearcher on twitter.
Posted by Bronwyn McConville June 1, 2010 at 9:29 PMHi Anne, As I understand it each person has their own separate account and log in for skylight and can link in with others account holders to collaborate on projects. I was thinking about a centralised point where people can store their details, build contact lists, store docs etc, a bit like google docs but different, perhaps am jumping the gun a bit, facebook and twitter are great ways to connect with people.
Posted by Irantzu Lauhingfan June 1, 2010 at 9:16 PMHi this is awesome really looking forward to it, funnily enough the venue is exactly where I've been meeting volunteers for the past few months to help me set up my charity. It's a good place to change the world from! :-)
Posted by Charlotte Anneka Linacre June 1, 2010 at 8:25 PMHelp with lists.... I am building a #linchpin list Please can you help? Does anyone know if can you share a twitter list?
The way I suggest to build this is by saying 'I nominate' @twittername for #linchpin and I will search them out!
Posted by Berniejmitchell June 1, 2010 at 8:00 PMHi Irantzu, can I just check what you mean - is the system you're suggesting password protected, if so how would you communicate to everyone here what the password is so they have access?
For those who don't want to share their details in the google docs spreadsheet we've started they don't have to; everyone is also fairly easily contactable via Facebook and in some cases, Twitter too.
Posted by Anne McCrossan June 1, 2010 at 7:14 PMHi I just entered my details on the google spreadsheet, I know a system we could use that might work for the purpose of gathering peoples details and sharing in a secure way and share docs, tasks, collaborations etc. What do people think? Here's a link to the site: http://skylightit.com
My business partner is the creator of this system and can help with getting it started for the group.
Posted by Irantzu Lauhingfan June 1, 2010 at 6:59 PMAh, this is a fantastic idea! Am super excited to meet people who recognise the massive value Linchpins represent, I will be there!
Posted by Irantzu Lauhingfan June 1, 2010 at 6:38 PMI have to shout wildly about something here! It is about keeping the momentum after the day. There is SO MUCH potential bubbling away here. After talking to some of you I have never met before and (those of you I know already) this is REAL energy not that slimy 'Stadium Praise' / collect lots of business card hype energy. What 'after' looks like is up to us but we could ensure a good start by all getting in Kenny's Linchpin mag and joining in on the FB http://bit.ly/FBLinchpin
page Thanks ;-)
Posted by Berniejmitchell June 1, 2010 at 5:46 PMReally looking forward to this. I've only recently been introduced to Seth's books and blog and I can't wait to meet like minded people.
Posted by Andrew Copeland June 1, 2010 at 5:24 PMI've set a Googledocs spreadsheet for us all to share details here https://spreadsheets.google....
Posted by Anne McCrossan May 31, 2010 at 2:43 PMlooking at the linchpin event list London is the only one with a significant number of attendees...what does this signify?
Posted by Sarah Farrugia May 31, 2010 at 2:23 PMi know this would be clunky but it would be a start - to create a google excel document and we all put our details on it - then when we have a better software option identified we can export the data. We can also produce the document somehow for 14th June to give to everyone...
Posted by Sarah Farrugia May 31, 2010 at 2:20 PMGreat idea Sarah!
Posted by Anne McCrossan May 31, 2010 at 1:10 PMhow about if we put together an online directory of all our 'work' our blogs, our twitter names, websites, our areas of interest so we can start to organise and learn / share from each other as a specific group? how could we do that and what would it bring to us? For me I think it would bring 'local heroes' to my doorstep. People who are doing, saying, being interesting / valuable and with whom I can share activity or insights or build on ideas or insights
Posted by Sarah Farrugia May 31, 2010 at 12:56 PMHello all,
